Why wouldn't/shouldn't a farmer do that? Other then the local COOP sales man whining that he/she doesn't get all of our business? All products can be found cheaper at one place or another. Chemicals usually have the biggest spread. Seed is second.

Do it like said above, tell them what you are doing and that will be NO rebids. Give me your BEST price the first time. Stick to your plan and if your buddy at the COOP is not the lowest, do not buy there.
