and.. nobody in their right mind would consider applying banvel to larger corn because it would flatten it. self policing kind of thing. this meant, as Dave already pointed out, that this product was always used before many beans were planted, and also before it got really hot. not with these new banvel ready beans, some will wait like they do now and do it all late july. I can guess how bad this will get, but it will probably be much worse.
Ding ding ding. We have a winner. I'm trying to explain the difference between spraying Banvel May 22 vs July 10 to my neighbor and it's like trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. I get a blank stare. 90 degrees and a wind with EVERYTHING in growing mode and we have a problem. Almost forces everyone to plant the xtend beans just so you're not the sucker that catches the drift from everyone else. |
