Had a cousin that build a 50' wide building and when we built ours he said we should go 54' cause 50 is too narrow by the time you get benchs and tools in the building. Really glad we took his advice. Of course if your just using it for storage might not matter and don't know what the difference in cost would be, but might be something to consider.
