Odd pocket,Illinois | We have a john deere 1518 and it windrows worse than any shredder we ever had. Dealer said we needed the anti - windrow kit to solve this promblem.Put the kit on and but didn't solve anything.Deck is not the easiest to clean unless you carry a leafblower everywhere. Ours is a 1000 pto but i' m pretty sure you can get them with 540. Wouldn"t recommend a deere.
