| Things get easier after the first farm is paid for, but it doesn't happen overnight. Just have to come up with the right combination. Building bins and a drying setup has helped me as much as anything. No way we could make things fly if we hauled every bushel to town and paid commercial drying even if I was smart enough to sell it all ahead. And I'm not. Don't know your age but I'm guessing in your 30's? Don't know of too many people buying many acres till they are into 40's. Wife, kids, college loans, whatever it all takes time. | |
