Subject: Gramoxone rates

I have a field that the weeds got away from me. Crop consultant recommended I did not spray them with a second pass over the top with round up while they were setting pods. He said it would reduce yield. Not sure I totally agree with his assessment because I think the weed pressure is equally bad or possibly worse. Anyhow, that is water under the bridge now for this year's crop.

My question is what rate of gramoxone can be sprayed after the beans start dropping leaves to kill the weeds to make harvest go quicker? Anyone that has unplugged a case/ih rotor will appreciate the reason for needing a clean field. Also, what percentage of leaves need to be turned yellow or dropped prior to spraying to avoid any damage to the actual soybean plant/seed?

TIA
