West Texas

Never heard of Hoody's peanuts.
But the we never know where they end up at anyway.

Peanuts require well drained sandy soil. They are planted with the same planter we use for cotton and corn. It just takes a lot more fill ups!! We plant around 90-100 lbs an acre.

In half mile long rows we can plant 2 rounds, then need to fill.

We are harvesting peanuts right now. (or trying anyway, rained again tonight)

Still have 120 acres to dig. Had hoped to finish that today but had to stop 1 digger to get another combine going. With only 3 of them running it took a lot longer. Plus had 3 seperate flats on one digger. And only 1 spare. Had another but a rim got ruined earlier this week.

Still aren't halfway yet with combining them. Fact, just barely getting started.

Had to lease a combine as one of ours broke down last Friday. Thought hydro pump went out. Well, it did go out and caused the hydrostat to go out.
