Subject: RE: Pioneer Corn

frederick, MD
I have some 2089 planted. A corn I like a lot. It looks awful. Some parts of the field have zero pollination. We are going to start chopping it soon and I know the yield and starch levels are not going to be good

I believe my dealer told he he is not super find of 2089. Says it can't handle stress. I have been planting it for 4 years and have been very happy with it until now.

With that said others have told me pollination has been a problem across the board. Looking at some of my other corn and my friends corn today I say the 2089 did a lot worse then others.

It was 100 degrees and bone dry when it pollinated.
