That rig sounds like a "fit" for you. I would prefer a T/T rig, but we've got plenty of manuvering room around our bins.
The Sterling is an OK truck. They are being discontinued next year but I would'nt back up because of that,[parts should be available for many years], if it meets your needs. Most of it is made up of component parts anyway.
That much motor with that small of a bed should drive like a dream.
