Subject: Re: Looking for terra gator

Terragator automatics are very expensive to fix. The Terrashift is about $25 K for a rebuilt from Agco. A standard transmission with a clutch is tha same as a truck. Not a pain on the road, or when you have a lot of room to turn. It is a PITA when you have to back up to turn. There is a Roadranger with a torque converter in some Terragators, I know very little about this one. Ag Chem did make some four wheelers with an Allison, that would be what I would look for. I am looking forward to the day I get rid of the last three rough riding, worn out 3 wheelers we still have.
