NWIL
For tractor applications I haven't done any pan work, or even been around them for that matter, and minimal tillage. Where I have put in hours is with several STXs is on 1000 bushel carts. Best comparison I have is a STX375 to both a 380 and 385, though they were not side by side, spaced out over three years. Empty carts, no difference, but when getting to the end and getting close to 60K of wheat on there and trying to maintain a good steady speed under the combine would tell the story. Cummins would drag down easier then the Iveco which would just lug on down, drop a few revs and maintain speed more comfortably. Getting up to speed to get back to the trucks was easier with the Iveco too, just would handle the hills easier. While we didn't really keep track of fuel efficiency, Iveco was better. They do take a little getting used to operation wise, but thats just it, getting used to em, no biggie.
