New Prague, MN | Looking at getting my first one on a limited budget of $600 max. I see on Craigslist I can find some fairly decked out Phantom 2's or a bare bones Phatnom 3 standard near that price. This will be purely a toy and most interested in filming videos on the farm as well as snowmobiling in the winter. My main questions are:
I read somewhere that the range of the 2 is only 300meters? Is that true? Looks like the 3 is 2000+meters.
I have a GoPro 3 already, is it best to use that or buy a drone with the built in camera?
What other features are must have that I need to watch out for?
Really I just want to be pointed in the right direction for my limited funds.
