| Usually, you can get a feel of how it was treated by looking at the clean grain and tailing elevators. If a combine has been left outside all the time, these will be rusted, maybe holes through the shields. Make sure chaff/ sieve are in good shape, also and the walkers. Another thing to do would be turn on the separator and listen for any loud/ shaking parts. Also, make sure the hydro does not whine much and the combine drives smooth. | |
