Subject: 48-30" planter a go?

Blue Earth, MN
Reading an article in Corn and Soybean Digest and the farmer said he is planning on switching from his 36 row 30" planter to a 48 row 30" planter before spring. I didn't think Deere had officially released that. I would doubt they would release it this "late". I know there was pics on here earlier this year of the 48 row planter but thought it was a Bauer concept. I also wouldn't think Bauer would be marketing this on their own. Anyone heard anything from Deere?
