You may not like this but there's a price to pay for a good drill. I've tried a few of the others and they won't match the JD for wear or consistent seed placement over varying soil conditions. In my opinion. It's not perfect and not a planter but it's darn good. Look for a used one with a recent rebuild or rebuild yourself.
