I realize there are lots of other performers doing great things with the USO but why are we not kept  more informed about them. They just do not seem to have the higher positive profile that Hope's shows did. Watching Bob Hopes Christmas specials as a youngster was always something to look forward to. Now it seems TV is embarrassed to show anyone doing a good deed for their fellow man and especially for those serving in the military.  Seems if it's not bad news it's not worthy of air time.

I guess that is my real complaint that positive and caring deeds for the troops are rarely shown.
