Michigan. | The leagues black out games in the "Broadcast area"..meaning the old school broadcast area, limited by transmission signal strength.
Cable, dish, net, etc. is not affected per se'.
HOWEVER.
The cable Company's, dish, etc. have regions that are much broader, and if they include service to areas blacked out, they will be as well.
Thanks to the matter selling premium packages on subscriber TV, the cable/dish folks aren't exactly complaining.
Once us hayseeds can get reliable broadband out here in the sticks, it's over.
Just run a proxy and sling it to the tube.
The broadcasters know it, and don't hide their opposition.
The networks will fade as fast as 8-Track tapes when it happens.
