in my opinion they ride better and mileage ranges anywhere from 18 to as high as 23 mpg
the couple of people that I know that have them are pretty fanatical about talking mileage. Dont know why they get better mileage than the pickups but they sure seem too. I had a 99' 7.3 and could never get better than 17mpg with a programmers, bed cover and large exhaust
