Butler County,Iowa
Spend less on seed. Put more into fertility. Micro nutrients and nitrogen.....etc
You get a balance in your fertility it don't matter what corn you have. It will grow great yields. Has seem to be the last few years with profits high that it was thought we had to spend a lot on seed. Not the case. It all goes backtrack I the same genetics. Nothing special. Spend the money building your soils...they will pay you back much better then that 300.00 bag of corn. Got conventional seed this year that is gonna smoke the doors off traited double pro and Stax corn. Focused on the micros and freeing up locked up nutrients and it shows. Just my opinion guys. But I'm in a diffirent ball game then paying 3-400 for seed.
