That has been my experience is all. I am not saying it is always the case but most of the time the seed companies ask more money for a certain seed it's because it's worth it in some way. From years back it was bt, then rootworm and roundup ready and now smartstax just seems over the years they prove themselves to be items I want to plant. Generally the most important decision you make all year is when you buy your seed. I have found that scrimping on seed will cost 50 bushel in yield quickly if you buy price only.
