The cost per acre for tape is around 400. Also depending on where you need to put your mainlines in has a cost to but it's not much. I install all this myself every fall I put in more acres. So yes it takes time to recover the investment. Now that corn is 2.80 might add a year more, but that still won't stop me from putting more in.
