Embarrass WI | Since you haven't gotten any replies, I thought I would throw in my two cents. I have a Bestway 1000 gal-60 ft boom that I got new last year, so I now have two seasons on it with no problems. I don't spray as many acres as some guys south of me, but I also have less time to do it.
When I was sprayer shopping, there seemed to be two classes of machines, cheaper built and higher quality. Bestway was in the better group, heavier wheels and bearings than some, all flat fittings, accumulators on the hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic breakaway, and I liked the "composite"(fiberglass) booms. After that it came down to price and dealer proximity. Our local JD dealer only handled Miller and Demco(IMO, both lower quality) and they agreed to take on the Bestway line so they could sell me a sprayer.
I would gladly buy another. | |
