Yep, I can remember some genetics that liked to do 14 around but if the fill period had decent weather and you had the nitrogen out there late would put on kernels the size of a thumbnail and make great corn. Small cob/ big kernels is just as good a way to get there as 18 around, if that's what the hybrid likes to do.
