Morris, IL | We'll see what it really ends up as Bill but using 80k we'll have lot of high 200's up here dancing near the 300 area. I know we struggle on getting great kernel count numbers but do really well at grain fill, just way our program works. I've seen fields with 1/4 less kernels then we do this year do 225, pretty easy math on that one. I think we got super lucky during that heat and got 2 cooling rains out of 3 of the warmest nights back in July.
The strip crop outside row kernel counts out at 425. It's just that good. One thing we have going for us is corner to corner, farm to farm, all of it looks the same. Basically no poor spots.
