Eastern Iowa | Before you make a lot of adjustments to the baler you might want to try a different brand of net wrap.
I don't have a JD baler but I found out that my Case RB-565 does not like Tama brand net wrap. Too get the baler to start the wrap cycle on a full roll of net the brake had to be all the way loose and then when the roll was almost gone it had to be tighten back up. Also had bales not wrapping on the ends. I switched to different brand net and so far it's working. The Tama net looks like the weave is thinner and lighter than it use to be causing it to pull out of the duckbill and tear easy causing the ends to not wrap. Not trying single out any net wrap brands and maybe I got some bad rolls but a lot of people are having wrap problem this year with newer balers. Hope this helps.
Also this was with the 64 inch x 7000 rolls.
