WC Indiana | I have a farm that borders a fairly large town and I get all the blackbirds from town. I talked to an Agrigold agronomist last year at FPS and he suggested 2 things. Plant later (don't be the earlybird) and plant hybrids with a long husk.
I took his advice and planted these fields in the middle of the spring and not first. Also had them recommend 2 long husk hybrids. Agrigold 6488 and Agrigold 6452. For the first time I have like zero bird damage.
