So. IL
Remember, the coolant is under pressure (or should be) at operating temperature. If oil is to enter the coolant system it will most likely be in a location where the oil pressure exceeds the coolant pressure.

The oil cooler is a very common location for this to occur.

Another less likely entry site is the head gasket where there are both oil and coolant passages. I had this happen on a 4450 tractor. This particular engine was run hot by the previous owner and was also seeping both coolant & oil to the exterior.

Another even less likely entry site is the head. While the Deere 6466 engines are durable, casting failures can and do occur. If you pull the head, send it to a competent engine shop to hot tank, pressure test and magnaflux it. Be ready to replace the exhaust valves and their springs also as they get weak due to heat and age. If there are no other problems the machine shop will also finish the mating surfaces. Total cost here is $400 give or take a hundred.

You indicate that there is some coolant in the oil? If so, can you get access to the tools needed to pressure test the coolant system with the engine not running. Without the engine running it is possible that the coolant system will not hold pressure which may lead you to the source of the leak.

Once you have found and fixed your problem be sure to recharge the coolant system with fluids containing a Supplemental Coolant Additive.

Lastly, do you have access Service Manual for a Deere 6466 engine? If not, you may consider purchasing one if you intend to dig deeper into the engine:
