SC Wisconsin
I'm in sort of the same boat as you. I farm about 50 and have that split into 3 different crops pretty evenly. I like the rotation, plus I need the straw for cattle and after that comes off I plan t sorghum sudangrass to make baleage out of later in the summer/ early fall. To answer the OP, if I had to give it away I probably wouldn't do it, but when I sell my wheat it gives me a little cash to buy more straw with as even on 14-17 acres I have each year of wheat, I still buy about 40 acres more of straw for bedding
