It takes x amount of each (nutrient17+) per plant.   Its nuts to think just more N will do it.  You need Childs fertility to support a 50k - 60K stand.  High pop and high N without very high K and micros = down corn.  You need to build the fertility 1st.   I have played with high pops for 15yrs. Going over 40k even in narrow rows is a really tough environment.
