Every bushel you go higher will take more n then the bushel before it . . It's like everything else law of diminishing returns. You can get 300 without putting on 300 but you also get some from the ground naturally. But I would say if you want fields to make 300 it's absolutly going to take 300 applied unless you just have real high Cec/om giving off a bunch.
