Subject: August rain on soybeans

ontario
I always hear about how valuable a good rain is for beans in august just like how corn needs the rain in July. Where my fields are located I have been lucky and have been getting rain until 2 weeks ago. now they are growing and filling pods and need rain. Just how much of a difference does a rain make on beans as they fill pods? Is the rain in august a make or break for soybeans?

I live over an hour from my crops and it is extremely dry down here I feel bad for the other farmers because the corn is terrible and beans are podding but we haven't had any rain. Makes you feel sick for the other farms who are going to have a terrible crop along with low prices.
