I think moldboard plow would be more effective for waterhemp since it has much shorter seed life

As far as Giant ragweed seed, seems like I read it was earthworms favorite food source to take down deep in the soil profile, IMO burying seeds with plow would help, but not eliminate

May just be as effective to let critters eat seed over winter, disk to promote early germination and use tillage again to eradicate emerged ones prior to planting
