Inputs will be less for the 17 crop. Fert should be down at least 30%, along with chemical, seed etc, it may not be as bad as you think. I doubt corn seed goes down as much as a percentage as wheat seed. There will be fewer wheat acres planted, better for me in a year. More soybeans? Corn? Pick your poison.
