I don't think they are all bad, but once you sign, you are SOL. They told us they would be considerate when doing placement of towers and roads but that part is BS. Plenty of guys not real happy right now with how they chose to route things.
Crop damage thing is a sore spot as well for some. Pickups and other things just taking short cuts across fields and such. Some are wondering how that will be figured in and when. There are crop damage clauses, but not real favorable to the farmer, and the execution of the figuring the payback seems to be a gray area.
Bottom line is you signed an easement. That is where your input will end. | |
