Subject: RE: Poll on conventional corn

NW Central Iowa (Fort Dodge)
2nd year of at least 500 acres of conventional, very happy so far just as long as everyone else keeps planting ss I think it helps me with bug control when everyone is under the got to have ss bug. Last year had a field go 247 average, and at under 140 a bag it was a payday, now you are taking a risk, but I think it out weights the consequences. I just won't pay the outrageous Dekalb seed corn prices. I do plant some pioneer am products and also plant lot of conventional pioneer, LG/Agrigold , and Titan pro corn.
