NW Central Ohio
Something to think about. On your burndown...instead of throwing the atrazine at it then...use some generic acetachlor (It doesn't photodecompose as fast as metolachlor). I always have grass germinating in my corn before my post pass...and it will help keep nutsedge, lambsquarter and pigweed down until you get your Capreno and Glyphosate on. You'll only need a pound of atrazine to the acre post. I can't understand the application of Permit along with the Capreno and Glyphosate either...and the Acetachlor should help keep nutsedge controlled so you don't need the Permit for it.
