As far as genetics goes Pioneer is the most diverse by a long ways and probably the exact opposite of limited. If you look at the NCGA top yielders for 2007 (i havent looked at this years yet) Pioneer had alot of numbers at the top. Of those numbers there were 13 different platforms. That means 13 different types of genetics were used to get those top spots. Dekalb also had a bunch of numbers in there but they only used 2 different males or females (i cant remember which) 2. almost all of their corn comes back to those 2 sets of genetics. That is one reason all their corn went down this year (in central iowa) instead of a few different numbers. They are all susceptible to anthracnose because they are all closely related.
