This belief that DEKALB had stolen Pioneer germplasm comes from a case settled in 1998 and carried forward with the purchase of DEKALB by Monsanto. The case was settled, I believe in 1999. My memory on the details are too sketchy and might only create new rumors or speculation.
If this claim had been verified, Pioneer would have slaughtered DEKALB.
Half Pioneer??
