North Central Iowa | +1 on wear, the one i traded in,ran it 9 years and adjusted the gathering chains twice. Sprockets showed little to no wear. If done the same acres on my old 1000 series head would have went thru 3 sets of gathering chains and 4 sets of lower sprockets(geez those things were junk)
I know I dont run alot of acres compared to some of you but my comparison to what I said about my experience with a 1000 series head is real. Never replaced any wear parts except for the chopper knives once in 9 years on my series 1 Drago.
