USA | Wasn't hoping for Epley to be the yield champ, was just hoping it wouldn't get blown out of the water. Way things are looking it isn't going to get blown out of the water.
$250 bag corn @ 30000= $94 acre- $30 = $64 acre. @ $3 corn= 21 bu acre.
21 bu more to break even for the $250 bag stuff. Fert cost to produce extra 21 bu around $8. trucking for 21 bu around $4 acre, handling around $2 = $14 acre @ $3 corn = close to 5 bu.
21 + 5 = 26 bu hole the high $ corn has to dig out of just to tread water. | |
