Some of you no-till haters are funny sometimes. No matter what the farming practice, you still have to seed into moisture and get good seed to soil contact. Planting shallow when dry or planting the seed into residue will not work. I have been no-till since 99. Sometimes it takes a little more thought to get it right but I've never had that poor of stand unless I don't do my job right. All kinds of ways to farm so I wouldn't throw no-till under the bus for everything that goes wrong. It's not for every farm or soil type. Just because it doesn't work for some doesn't mean it never works. Not directed at you Garvo, just a general statement.
