I'm to poor to spend $600 on hand labor to save $500 worth of crop instead of mowing it off for $20.

Why throw good money after bad???

Been my experience from years ago hoeing cotton, trying to save a crop lost in a weed patch you end up hoeing out as much crop as weeds, and the weeds have already choked out the best yield. So realistically the crop isn't good enough to save anyway.

I'd have done the same, except I don't think I would have posted it online.
