Have a UP neighbor who had a copper line installed on the peak of his cabin when it got reroofed. Moss is an issue on everyone elses shingles, his roof looks brand new yet. No moss at all.
Seems like a copper wire in the tile has been discussed on this site in the past, thought most gave the practice a thumbs up.
