We laugh AK47 cause we know HS kids won't work that hard anymore, now its sports camps and baseball all summer.
When I was 9-18 that was normal summer routine walk beans and Milo, chop thistles in pasture, put small square bales of straw and alfalfa in hay mow. Lay irrigation pipe. Worked all summer, and made pretty good money at it too.
