Subject: Its too hot to walk beans....

NW IL, Mercer County
So I'm mowing off the worst patches. I think my outside boom sections were having issues on burndown in a couple areas, resulting in 20-40' of tall waterhemp. I pulled on them for about 15 min a week ago and after only talking a step or 2, the batwing was in order. Too hot and not enough time to do it by hand. Luckily its only this field and maybe an acre worth. I'm a firm believer that most weed problems start along the field edge, so if you can keep the endrows clean, the rest of the field should stay clean. And that is also why I am religious about spraying field borders with crossbow in the summer.

All my other fields are spotless or have a couple random plants that I can hand pull.
