Too Tall - 7/23/2016 21:57 Better to error on being too early than late on timing. Sounds like you are learning fast and eager to employ to the new things. I have also wondered about a bigger nozzle behind wheels. My thinking is you should place an additional nozzle behind the other nozzle you want to increase the volume with. The width on the center section on the controller should be " lied to" for the correct gpa. Example: 100 inch section with 5 nozzles originally should now have 7 nozzles with 140 inch width programmed but only spraying the original 100 inch width. Clear as mud. Your way of placing a larger nozzle will have the controller applying less gpa on the remaining nozzles because it is trying to average the gpa over the entire center section.


Trimble rate controller doesn't play nice when you try to fool it.  Not sure I could do this.
