I normally run a bedder roller before planting. This year I didn't drag the beds off with a do-all before planting so I didn't have to run a cultivator after planting. We put our preemerge chemical out before we planted. We were able to get a rain on it before planting making it work good and not be as tough on the beans. I like not having to run the cultivator in crop and disturbing the pre chemicals and then needing to get the second shot of pre activated before I get weeds coming up.
