Subject: RE: smoking the worms

WNW Illinois, Henry Co
it is a way of demonstrating the amount of soil life in the soil. he says worm hole will show the amount of compaction. he has a very good explanation of how worms use the residue and translocate it throughout the profile., the video is of the day before when we had sunny skies, the next day at the demo with neighbors, it was threatening rain at any minute and he was saying ahead of time that they probably would have some holes closed off cause the worms would do that to prevent drowning In a large rain event. it was sprinkling slightly, and the amount coming out the holes was only about a third of the day before. we still had smoke coming out into the field over 200 feet away from input. fascinating to me.
