Subject: RE: Corn is a C4 warm season grass

Had an agronomist tell me one time that corn and soybeans like the kind of weather we do...

80's during the day and 60's at night

C4 plants are able to sync carbon at higher temps 90+, but they still prefer the cooler weather that us as humans enjoy...

I was reading and they are trying to create a c4 rice... If they can do that I wonder if they can do a corn plant that uses the cam process similar to a cactus or other arid plants..
