East Central Ia | I have had about the same and no more than 1.5" at a time this month. Our biggest rain was around the third week in June at 3.2". We were very dry before that and the next day you were hard pressed to find a puddle.
Since then its been almost perfect.
We had 2.9" in April, 2" of that coming in the last three days of the month.
We had 2" in May in a total of 14 rain events!
We had 5.4" in June from the 14th on. We were very dry until our 3" rain on the 22.
We have had 4.7" in 12 rain events so far in July.
These numbers are a little on the low side as my weather station seems to read consistently low compared to two other nearby gauges I check.
